The new drive design allows the forage harvester to be operated more easily without removing the drive belts with a more efficient drive from the combined harvester engine.
The advantage of our shredder is that the forage harvester is permanently mounted.
The use of the forage harvester depends on the position of the lever that adjusts the position of the drop plate connected by cables to the steering wheel and the on or off status of the engine drive.

Does the straw chopper need to be removed when it is not in use?
No. One of the design advantages is that the straw chopper can remain permanently mounted.
How do you switch the combine between chopping and non-chopping operation?
The operating mode is selected by adjusting the lever that controls the position of the discharge plate and by engaging or disengaging the straw chopper drive.
Do the drive belts need to be removed when changing operating modes?
The new drive design simplifies operation without requiring the drive belts to be removed each time.
